Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
Yes. I have a zoo! I have two boxer dogs (who I live for), two neblung cats who are very demanding, a Senegal parrot that was my mother's and now mine that is 35 years old and a pond full of koi and goldfish.
What’s your favorite season and why?
Football season. I love every thing about football season. Tailgating, watching Game Day on ESPN, the Arkansas Razorbacks, the Hendrix Warriors.
How do you stay motivated and positive during stressful times?
I am exceptionally blessed with friends, family and faith. I lean on both to motivate me. Those three have brought me more joy than I ever could have imagined.
How long have you been in the real estate business?
13 years.
What inspired you to be in the real estate business?
Prior to going in to real estate I spent 20 years working in marketing communications for some of Arkansas's leading corporations including running my own company. For me, real estate allows me to continue working with and representing Arkansas's people and places. I love what I do every day and the people with whom I work.
How would you describe your approach to helping clients?
It is a privilege to stand beside my clients as they open and close various chapters in their lives. Every one has a story, a dream and a plan. Some are opening new chapters with marriages and babies, some closing them when downsizing or the loss of a loved one. My approach is to treat every client as if it is the most important moment in their life, because in many ways it is and to minimize the stress that can come with buying and selling property.
What neighborhoods or areas do you specialize in?
To me, that is a funny question. I specialize in people not neighborhoods. I guess if I have to pick I specialize in Pulaski County, regardless of price and location. I work in a variety of price ranges and with both residential buyers and investors.
How do you handle multiple clients and manage your time effectively?
I live and die by my day planner/organizer. I've always been an old school pen and paper planner person but I am trying my hand at a digital planner right now. So much of what I do is available online now from my computer, phone and iPad. I'm a huge note-taker, screen-capturer and planner person. It's the only way I keep up with my busy schedule, multiple clients and even more transactions than I can at times count. It's a lifesaver.
